Fixed, or "Vented" louver doors permit air flow and passage, making them ideal for applications like closets and laundry rooms where ventilation is preferred. Fixed louvered doors are also available in exterior grade.
   

 Fixed Louvers

The most popular of exterior shutters, our exterior fixed louver shutters are made from kiln dried Incense and Western Red Cedar, Douglas Fir, or Honduras Mohagany. Other lumber choices are available. Choose from several blade sizes: 1 1/4", 1 3/4", 2", 2 1/4" and 2 1/2". We can even make them with a custom blade or tapered louver to match your interior shutters.

Acura Custom Shutters has proudly manufactured custom shutters since 1987. Made from the finest select hardwoods including basswood, poplar, and alder. We hand select each piece to assure the correct structural integrity of the finished shutter.

All components are milled to precise tolerances, hand sanded prior to assembly, sanded again prior to heading to the finish department. We then proceed to apply two coats of primer. The shutters are detail sanded again, and then two coats of our premium water based acrylic are applied. The result a finish that is second to none.
